Upland Bird Hunting Clinic
Spend the day at local quail preserve learning the safety and basics of shooting upland birds over pointing dogs. We will help enhance your wingshooting skills out where the “rubber meets the road.” Many practice shooting at clays courses without ever having the experience and thrill of shooting a live bird over a well-trained pointer. If you are planning to go on a bird hunting trip later in the year, this clinic is a great “brush up.” Includes shooting an adequate amount of live birds which you may keep to take home with you to eat while receiving basic instruction on how to handle yourself, your gun, your approach on point, and follow through of actual shooting. Lunch not included. Shooters must bring own shotgun(s). 20 gauge over and under or side by side recommended. Does not include license or ammunition. About 6 hours, not including drive time, on scheduled Saturday. Reservation is required.
Date: TBA (please call the shop or email if interested)
$300 per person
