Basics of Fly Fishing
These one-day, 101-style classes are designed to get you started into fly fishing. Learning how to fly fish is not nearly as hard as people think. Our class is easy and provides you with all the tools necessary for you to begin fishing on your own on our local waters. You learn basic casting, knots, fly selection, fishing technique, and equipment use. We get you outside casting twice in the day in a park across from our store and spend the rest of the time learning in a classroom setting in the shop. About 7 hours on scheduled Saturdays at shop. Equipment provided, but not lunches. Space is limited. Reservation required.
